Short abstract: What happens when the precision of agricultural spraying collides with the turbulence of a propeller wake? This study answers that question by investigating the impact of propeller wake on the spray geometry of standard ASABE agricultural nozzles.

Short abstract: Recent advancements in aerial spraying have driven a shift toward rotary atomizers on unmanned aerial vehicle platforms because they produce uniform droplet sizes at low flow rates with minimal clogging. However, the interaction between rotary atomizer plumes and UAV propeller wakes remains poorly understood.
